Was his recent call fro,m his agent saying Kevinj will be the “Garcia” on the Criminal Mind’s spin off, right? We can only hope!

Em: I would be surprised if anyone does. The producer’s spiel before the play was basically like, “Turn everything OFF.” And the theater is kind of tiny — video equipment totally would have been noticeable.

Which is kind of a shame! If it weren’t for the potential licensing issues, I’d say they should have filmed one of the productions, then offered it up on iTunes. They’d rake in the dough.

nicky has been THE big surprise for me on the hallowhedon con. i have to admit i´ve never been a big nicholas brendon fan (please don´t kill me), so i met this man without any expectations, dreams, …. to be a fan here in vienna (amerika is so so far away from us) is very difficult, because i cannot watch all the films on tv. i just knew him from buffy and now i know him as kevin lynch. thats it.

so i met a man who is a wonderful person, always patient, always nice, with an open mind, uncomplicated, a worm heart, and he is game for everything (riding this pumpkin e.g.) and modest.

so i started to follow a little bit on this site and on twitter, because nicky talked about it and i started to be a little bit nosy (is that the right word?)

we did mention that we’d posted the pics from Friday night on twitter tho

as i said, i’ve missed previous shows due to not being either in state or in SoCal with money- but had heard good things from the friends who did see them. so i expected good. i got great. you’re right to be impressed in Nick’s versatility as each character stood out (and had the same voice in the two different nights) and he’d turned them off and on on a dime. loved it. i’m not generally a fan of one-man shows because it’s a lot of pressure for one person and i’ve seen people crack and fail. Nick didn’t come close… not even when the woman last night was practically freaking out at one point when he tried to “talk” to her. he broke, he lost it, i almost pee’d, but he got it got and continued with her- a really impressive feat. loved the show more last night than i did the first time.

b. If I’d have known you were going back to the play tonight, I’d have suggested you wax poetic about how awesome it is to see him tweeting. Although, I guess you could make it three in a row and go back to see the play as it closes tomorrow to tell him that.

I saw the play last week and — I’m not just saying this because I run the site — but I was really impressed with Nick’s versatility.

(ps… my roomie and i snuck into tonights Santaland Diaries [saw it last night, too] and it was even more hilarious- my side and head both hurt from laughing. poor me! *snicker*)

It looks like there are a number of “Santaland” productions across the country this year.

Nick is playing in Santaland only in L.A., right? Not in other places around the country. I just saw my local civic center is having Santaland performances that end tomorrow.
