Nick,

If you're still looking for a book to read, I recommend Let the Right One In. Yes, it's a cheesy title, and yes, it's a vampire book, but it's one of the creepiest books I've ever read. There is also a movie.

I just read your blog, and just let me say, you're hilarious. I thought I was a rambler. (rambeler...hmmm?) As for scary books, Pet Cematary was scary, but, "It," was so scary I threw it across the room a couple of times as I read it. I look forward to seeing you on television again soon. Pet your dog for me ( luv shepards).

You like to read or are you only looking for inspiration? I am an avid reader as I find it helps me get get into character when I act. Re sort of gives you insight into a characters mind. Great scary books:
Author Title
Jeffery Deaver Bone Collecter (about seven books in the series)
Dean Koontz Fear nothing (brilliantly psychological)
William Diehl Primal Fear ( again about seven books in the series the
movie does the book no justice).
Stephen King Bag of Bones (really pscho but brilliant)

Then again if you want to read for pleasure try Kellerman (Faye or Jonothan both are good). In any case one Q? How many propasals to marriage do you get each day? You look alot like my brother (or he looks alot like you not sure which way round). He models and gets about ten proposals a day on a slow day! In a way I feel sorry for you guys but then again it must be a real boost to your ego (I know it is to my brother). Here I go rambling on again:(

For a laugh read some Raul Dahl his sick sense of humour puts the rest of the wrold into perspective. Let us know which books you actually decided to read won't you:)

Ps. Your blogs are great you should do them more often.

Single, eh? Hrmm...27, live in Los Feliz, musician, and...I collect human skulls and mount them on my wall. Interested? ;-D

My absolute favorite book ever is Stephen King's The Stand, uncut edition. I think I read it in three days, stopping only to eat, sleep, and pee. Or maybe not even. When I get wrapped up in a book I rarely stop for anything!

Nick,

I suggest my fave author,Chuck Palahniuk , its not scary, per se , but, its very weird, demented, kinda a mind f**k, and haunting.

I suggest you start with "Haunted", if you have not read him before, be forewarned, its some weird, creepy stuff.

But, not scary as in EEK EEK! Its more about pushing boundaries, hell, he leaps over them and hits the ground running sometimes,

He wrote the book fight club, and choke, both were fairly watered down screen adaptations, though.

No demons or monsters, humans are the monsters, so to speak. he writes about the darker side of humanity, the things ppl don't talk about as much.
(i am a liberal Christian, humanist, wrap your head around that one, lol)

My first was Haunted, i picked it up at teh library on a lark. I burned thru all his stuff they had quickly once i finished it, and jump on a waiting list, and usually i am first, when a new one is released.

I am a persnickety reader, its hard to get into stories, i am a writer by nature, screenplays mostly, and books, movies and tv are almost torture for me when poorly written.

Chuck is absolutely riveting.

I am a horror junkie, in all formats.
When i want a junk food kinda book, i go for Stephen King, My mom turned me on to him when i was around 12 or 13.

Chuck makes Stephen look like a cute white fluffy bunny. :D

Here is a link to the official Chuck site.

XoXo-H

P.s. I miss Buffy :(
But, at least i still can get an injection of vitamin Joss via Dollhouse.

His writing for tv invokes/invoked, the same kinda feelings as Chuck did for books.
