Pictures of Nicholas Brendon in ‘From Your Sweetheart’

Nicholas Brendon in From Your SweetheartOK, so chances are most of you couldn’t make it to Los Angeles last month to see Nicholas Brendon in the Blank Theatre Co.’s Young Playwrights Festival.

That’s OK, though. You can still see pictures from From Your Sweetheart, as well as the other two productions held during week two of the festival, on the festival’s website!

I think you’re super neat:) I really enjoyed your acting/character in “Buffy”. You seem like a very likable person. And leaving a comment on a fan website is definitely in the top 5 geekiest things I’ve ever done. Oh well, I wish you all the best!

Hey, hey! Just checked imdb and Nick is rumored in a movie called The Holiday House. Here is the link. Hopefully this site could shed light on this great news. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1489248/

I just read that a remake of “The Evil Dead” is in the works by Sam Raimi and I can’t think of anyone else that could live up to the Ash character better than Nick Brendan – Any chance of this happening? – That would be sweet!

Pretty sad I have to do this. My Neighbor’s Secret premieres on LMN on Saturday September 26, 2009 at 8:00 pm. http://www.lmn.tv/schedule/index.php?show=month.

You can get a detailed summary of the movie by clicking on the link
    for the movie.

You speak the truth, man. Someone needs either a new web mistress or a better publicist.

    Howdy,

Thanks to you both for your continuing enthusiasm for Nick and his projects!

Just wanted to reassure you that I was/am aware of the upcoming airing of “My Neighbor’s Secret.” In the 10 years that I’ve been running NB.com and its predecessor, I’ve found that it’s actually better to wait two to three weeks before an airing before publicizing it. If I post prior to that, people tend to forget by the time it actually airs.

Rest assured, after tomorrow’s U.S. holiday, we will be promoting the LMN movie on the homepage, and I have something else in my back pocket as well.

    Thanks again!

P.S., I’ve asked about “The Holiday House.” I’ll let you know what/when I hear back.

I’m guessing hopefully a trailer, maybe? I saw that “September Secrets” commercial on LMN by chance when I was flipping through the channels. I saw Nick in it. That was actually what told me that this movie was going to air this month. Sorry if I burst the bubble by revealing it soon. I just didn’t know if this site was active or not. It’s been a while since the last time it was tweaked.

I’m glad you have done that Jacqui. Honestly if I was computer-savvy I would have made my own Nicholas Brendon site. I own everything Nick- from his appearance on Howie Mandel, Rock and Jock, other MTV appearances, MTV Videos That Don’t Suck… everything. I should reproduce all of my copies and sell them at a Nick Brendon fan site or something. I love Nick- it is obvious that without him Buffy would not be the success it was. Who can relate to a slayer? A witch? A watcher? A vengeance demon? I mean, come on. He was the best character. Hopefully he can lead more movies.

By the way, I also have a book called “Meeting the cast of Buffy” or something like that. Nick expressed it clearly in a quote that he preferred independent movies because he can play more roles. Boy was he right.

I’m actually working on scaring up a trailer. The problem? I don’t have Lifetime Movie Network. I wish it was on Lifetime! I have relatives with LMN, though, so I’ll be able to watch it when it does air.

And wow. I have stuff, but you just mentioned the trifecta of things I don’t have (I think they were lost in a cross-country move). Howie Mandel, Rock & Jock and the MTV stuff would be fantastic to have again.

And agreed — Xander was my favorite character, too. Obviously! Hee.

Once i get my VCR hooked back to my computer I can post all of that on Youtube. I just haven’t got the motivation to post it but if there are some who would be interested, sure I would do it. Nicholas charging the mound after David Wells was classic. It was also funny how Howie Mandel used that Xander-Willow “homecoming” scene in which they were in their prom dresses to introduce Nicky. It was such an intimate moment I bet Nicky was embarrassed. Not the best way to introduce an actor.

Yeah, I might have issues with not having LMN as well. It’s funny but movies that premiere on LMN eventually find their way onto Lifetime network. It makes sense from a ratings standpoint to have it premiere on Lifetime instead of LMN and then air it on LMN but oh well.

Glad to know that the web mistress is alive and doing well. You got a nice site here. I kinda miss Nicky’s audioblogs. But I’m sure he’s busy. Might I add, if he is in the holiday house, it would be probably the first time in cinematic history where the lead two actors both had identical twin brothers: Jason London and Nicholas Brendon. Kinda neat.

    Jacqui~

Glad to hear you haven’t fallen off the face! Seemed strange to go so long without an update, especially with all the rumors of various projects swirling around. Good to know you’re on the case. ; )

Looking forward to hearing what you find out!
