Nicholas Brendon to join ‘Adam Baum and the Jew Movie’

Nicholas will be back on the stage next month! He’s joining Adam Baum and the Jew Movie, taking over the role of Garfield Hampson Jr. from Hamish Linklater. Richard Kind is Samuel Baum and Gregory Mikurak is Adam.

Nicholas will begin his run July 11. The show is scheduled to run Thursdays through Sundays, June 6-July 20, at The Hayworth Theatre, 2509 Wilshire Blvd. in Los Angeles.

Nicholas Brendon theater, DVD news

Nicholas Brendon will return to The Blank Theatre Co. this weekend to take part in the 16th Annual Nationwide Young Playwrights Festival. He’s playing Gary, one of the characters in Three Headed Dog, written by 18-year-old Patrick Howley of Avon, Conn.

The play, which is being directed by Tiffani Thiessen (yes, that Tiffani Thiessen), runs Thursday through Sunday at Hudson Mainstage, 6539 Santa Monica Blvd., Los Angeles, Calif. Showtimes are 8 p.m. Thursday, Friday, Saturday; and 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Sunday.

In DVD news, a release date for the third season of Criminal Minds has been announced. According to TVShowsonDVD.com, you can pick up the set Sept. 16. Nick appeared in three season-three episodes.

Nicholas Brendon on ‘Criminal Minds’ again — tonight!

Nicholas makes his third guest appearance on tonight’s episode of Criminal Minds, as Kevin Lynch. Be sure to tune in for “In Heat,” tonight at 9 Eastern/8 Central!

Nicholas on ‘Criminal Minds’; ‘Super Cat’ peek

Nicholas Brendon brings Kevin Lynch back to Criminal Minds tomorrow night (Wednesday, April 2, 9 Eastern/8 Central) — and if that isn’t reason enough to tune in, check out his Feb. 28 audioblog entries (entry No. 1, entry No. 2) for a spoiler that might sway you.
