Nick back on ‘Criminal Minds’? Let’s hope!
Last week’s “Watch With Kristin” column at EOnline included a little nugget about Nick’s possible future on Criminal Minds in the coming season:
Who Blew Up? I get the feeling that Thomas Gibson’s Hotchner might not be so safe. See, I asked Kirsten if we’d be seeing any more of Nicholas Brendon as her hacker boyfriend, Kevin Lynch, and she told me, “Yes, I think so, but before that, we have a very interesting arc with a gorgeous hunk-a-ma-lot named Thomas Gibson. We spend a lot of time at first dealing with his issues.” Ruh-roh.

Hotch, played by Gibson is perhaps the biggest star on Criminal Minds. Certainly he is the co-eader of the unit and getting a 2 or 3 episode arc is his due. All the members of the unit get arcs to explian their personalities and growth, Hotch has just goe through the breakup of his marriage and his wife has custody of their son. He feels like his life is a mess and he has been a failure. I think next season will show him coing to terms with his situation as well as getting over his grief about his marriage and becoming interested in other women. Where Garcia’s boyfriend, playedby Brenden, is in this mix is uncertain, but I bethe does show up now and again.
