Nicholas on ‘Criminal Minds’; ‘Super Cat’ peek

Nicholas Brendon brings Kevin Lynch back to Criminal Minds tomorrow night (Wednesday, April 2, 9 Eastern/8 Central) — and if that isn’t reason enough to tune in, check out his Feb. 28 audioblog entries (entry No. 1, entry No. 2) for a spoiler that might sway you.

And more good news: He just started shooting his third Criminal Minds episode!

As part of our ongoing Super Cat coverage, we can now share with you a sneak peek of the show’s opening theme! Like our previous featured clip, it’s not the final version, but you’ll get a good idea of what’s to come. The theme music was written by show creator Ben Thompson and Doug Sizemore.

If you like it, you can leave a note here, or on YouTube to let Ben and Nick know!

Hee! I like it! “In a world of not good…” I’m really looking forward to watching this with my nephew, so you have to get it on the air, okay?

    My head’s on fire.

Oh yeah, that rocked! But you know…the theme song is gonna be stuck in my head for who knows how long! Thanks. It’s catchy, and I can’t wait.

Excellent job, guys, and thanks for the update!

I really like this. Very cute. (: Awesome introduction! The interaction between Super Cat and his sidekick is hilarious. My heads on fire….LOL! I sure hope Cartoon Network picks this up because from what I’ve seen I really like it and I can’t wait to see this on tv.

nick could everybodys support here: http://criminalmindsfanatic.blogspot.com/

They ask this question : Nick Brendon as a recurring guest?
Great addition as of now 47%
Good addition as of now 10%
Not sure yet as of now 13%
Not feeling the love as of now 28%

This site is also often checked out by Criminal Minds creator/executive producer Ed Bernero

So it would be really good for if the score is best in Great addition

Hey Nick, great job on Criminal Minds! Man, I was laughing so much! My mom (who isn’t much into watching TV) even sat down and watched the entire episode and she really liked it. So, again, awesome job and we can’t wait for next week’s!

    Take care.

Awesome job last night! I really loved it. And I love the character Kevin Lynch for Garcia, so cute! (squees) (:

Oh! And Mike thanks for the heads up on the poll. I already went over there and voted for Nick. I hope they make him a very regular recurring actor on the show, or better yet, add him to the cast permanently.

The intro for Super Cat is great. I thought that the Wink-Man and Gus were hilarious, and Super Cat is perfect. *giggle* I’m off to email CN again.

Criminal Minds last night was amazing. Ooh. I loved the Kevin / Penelope interaction in her office “… somewhere between a Comodore 64 and a block of government cheese.” And your expression, priceless. And the end in Rossi’s office, be still my heart. I <3 Kevin Lynch. Great job!

Can’t wait for the next episode…

I really enjoyed “Damaged” and look forward to seeing more (ahem) of Kevin Lynch.

Which leads me to wonder… was there another (unaired) take without the pink towel?

It’s great to see someone gorgeous convincingly playing a geek.

Also, inquiring minds want to know the story of the colorful ink!

I didn’t had great spectations about it but it seems really good. The initial monologue and it’s interruption remember me Buffy cutting the discurse of The First Evil in “Amends”.
And as there’s a lot of animals, maybe we could have Bunnies!

Really awesome. The music is great, and you catch the humor and tone of the show from the opening credits. I love it.

Oh, and “my head is on fire”? Priceless.

I saw you on Criminal Minds this week. It was a close call because I’d just flown into NYC for a work conference. I got to my room at the Sheraton and got the TV on just in time, only 5 minutes to spare!

You were great! I’m so glad your character and Penelope are getting together because I think the two of you have great chemistry. Also, I think it’s great that you’re coming back for a third episode. Criminal Minds has been one of my favorite shows for years, and this just makes it even more fun to watch.

Supercat looks hilarious. Considering the disdain that most cats have (or seem to have) for everyone, I think it’s quite clever to have a cat playing a superhero since I can’t imagine anything less likely. It’s probably just a ploy to get more cat food and treats. I’m sure that’s all it is.

    Take care!
