Nicholas Brendon audioblog update Feb. 28, 2008 part 2
Driving home, from the Criminal Minds, and I thought everybody should know that: I made the cut! I did. I pasted on that little hammock. That little sock, if you will. And I did … and I … let them have their way with me. A really unique situation — I’m happy that it’s behind me, every pun intended.
Can we get a mad shoutout to Jacqui, who’s going to transcribe this later on? Hi, Jacqui. Mad shout.
So, yeah, it’s so cool. And it was my last day of the episode. And, it was awesome. It was fantastic. And, actually I have, they take pictures now, like, next to the camera. So I’ve got a bunch of pictures with me. A wine bottle is covering up my willy. My Johnson. My Jackson. My reel. My knits and my bits. Very funny.
It’s actually, you know, it’s really a morbid show. A beautifully written, morbid show. Get some nice little comedy nuggets in there. And so I think, and then the last shot, there are two cameras on either side of my right butt cheek and my left butt cheek. So I’m literally splitting the camera — my asscrack is splitting it. Which, again: Funny. I guess.
I hope that you guys enjoy it. I know that I enjoyed doing it — probably a little bit too much, to be quite honest with you. And I met some real FBI agents, today, who were on set. And, like, the Marine Corps was on set today, too. A lot of people saw my ass. And this thing that I was wearing, on my front.
I hope everybody’s well. I will blog again, probably in about a week or so. It will be a broader blog .. maybe, I’ve written some stories. I just burped, excuse me. I might. Oh, hold on. Are you hanging up on me? No, we’re good. But! I should go. I’m going to read some stories that I’ve written, perhaps next time. Bye.

Wow, it’s totally cool that you got to meet some FBI and Marine Corps dudes, I’m very jealous – it’s cool to know that they have real agents on set sometimes too.
Can’t wait to hear your stories, and definitely a big shout-out to Jacqui, I know how much we all appreciate her transcription work.
I’m sooo looking forward to these episodes of CM screening here in Australia, I’ve always been a big fan of the show anyway, esp. Kirsten Vangsness and Matthew Gray Gubler, they seem like cool peeps. I miss Kirsten’s blog actually, I keep waiting for her to re-start it. Hopefully she will soon!

Congrats, I’m sure it was a very traumatic experience for you putting on that little sock
. Major shout out and thanks to Jacqui for this transcript! I think I will enjoy it, very much, and it’s awesome that you got to meet some FBI and Marine Corps, my cousin is in the Corps, good stuff.
It would be brilliant to hear some of the things you’ve written and I hope all is well with you, too!
Much love and cheer!

One of the main reasons I got the sound on my computer fixed was so that I could listen to Nick’s crazed ramblings. Love it. Except now I’ve got this extremely disturbing picture of Nick, in a cock sock, ricocheting around in my head. Okay, I’m outta here, gotta find something to knock the cock sock out of my head.

Congratulations on getting through the cut. (: I’m sure that you’re very glad that that’s all over with. And, I’m sure you’re not kidding when you say that it was a really unique situation.
Wow, FBI agents and members of the marine corp. It sounds like you got to meet some very interesting people. I’ll bet that made the whole getting naked scene even more unique.
I’m definately looking forward to seeing this episode. Jacqui updated us and posted that it would be coming on April 2nd, I believe. So, can’t wait to see the next CM episode that you’re in. And, thank you Jacqui for all you do here for us on the website. (:
I would absolutely love to hear some of the stories and things you’ve written. I like to write and would definately love to hear what you write. So, I’ll be looking forward to the next blog, but then again, I always forward to your next blog. So, anyway, hope that everything is going well with you and thanks again for the blogs.
hugs,
Ruth

Dude, you rock! (Yes, I am a child of the 90s, why do you ask?) Thanks so much for getting back to us, and letting us all know about the cock sock and the wine bottle and the ass shot and everything. I’m so gonna set my VCR (because my technology is also from the 90s – I cannot afford a Tivo) for this.
You write? Fantastic! Are they short stories or long? Are they comedy, drama, sci-fi, slice of life, coming of age, erotic, westerns, or romance? Do you show them around? Look to get them published? I would love to hear them if you would be interested in reading them to us via blog.
Best of luck to you in all that you do, Nick.
Much love,
Shannon

So glad that your inital uncertainty and potential psychological scarring turned out instead to be a joy!
Would love to listen to some of your writing. In fact please do cause I’ve been inundated lately with stats and facts and crap from my friendly producer so a different story would be a lovely diversion!

Darn shame you have a girlfriend. I hope you are happy in your life and everything else.

Hi Nick. I’m a new entry of your group: sorry if my English is not so well but I’m Italian so I’m not very well but I’ll try. I really appreciate that you continue to have this blog, talking with your fans…So I want to tell you that I think you are a very very good actor- I loved “Buffy” mostly because of your character Xander and your way of playing him- so can you tell me what your plans are in this period? Are you playing other important rules? Sorry if I give you the idea that I’m stuoid, but my English skills are not so well…So I apologize with you if I am not able to explain..Tell me if you understood something, BYE

Ya know how sometimes you will read other folks blogs, like I dunno.. Sam Elliot or Rocky Dennis and although you enjoyed reading said blog.. well, you just don’t have a comment in ya?
Yuh huh.
I enjoyed the blog.
This is my comment.
Sam Elliot needs to start blogging PRONTO, that handsome salt and pepper haired fella.
It’s prolly all salt now.
Take care ninja!

Oh Nicky!
You’re so wonderful, I’d always enjoyed Xander on Buffy, and I really love this new “Kevin” fellow, and you still have your lovely humor.
I am an older fan (47) bit O give you snaps none the less.
Where is your writing at: Is it somewhere we can see it?
