Hi Nicholas,

So glad to hear you're back at work. Loved you in Criminal Minds and I'm hoping they keep you as a recurring character. Kevin and Garcia are a perfect match.

Loved the dog and human chorus there at the end! My cat, however, seems to want nothing to do with it.

I'm looking forward to seeing more of Kevin on "Criminal Minds"! I highly recommend listening to lots of Jonathan Coulton to get in the character's head; he was just dubbed the Godfather of Geek Rock, and is much beloved by computer genius types. (And I think Xander would be a fan too -- what's not to love about songs about zombies, mad scientists and our future robot overlords?)

I seem to have forgotten how to go to the movies, but since we get a blizzard every other day here in Wisconsin, it's not like I could get out much anyway. Thanks for the vicarious movie experience!

Right after I listened to this blog entry, a friend of mine (who was listening to it at the same time I waseven though she's an hour ahead and thousands of miles away) mentioned that, while putting freshly spun yarn on a rack like torture device, I must be wanting my yarn to lay like a murdered hooker.... I have to admit that I *almost* fell out of my chair laughing. I mean seriously, how often does one work that phrase into a conversation, especially over the Internet with a 'net friend thousands of miles away?

I know you've heard this many times before however... I shall inflict it on you again. Congratulations about Criminal Minds, you did wonderfully in that episode and right now it's the only reason I'm considering buying a t.v. for my living room. Since I don't have one. Because, well, what's the point in buying a t.v. for it to collect dust?

Back to the spinning wheel with me...

Nick,

I'm so happy that you're coming back to Criminal MInds. I love that show, and I loved the role you played a while back. I knew they'd have to have you back when the strike was over because you were so great before! So... Yah!! for you!!! I predict recurring this year and contract next season. :nods:

As far as Emma is concerned, it's probably best to keep the connection a spiritual one. Hah hah. I loved hearing her and all the other dogs singing in the background. I'm surprised they stayed so quiet for so long. Whenever I talk on the phone my two dogs think I'm talking to them, and they bark and bark and bark. Until I hang up the phone, and then they walk off.

Daniel Day-Lewis is fantastic. His last movie is on my "to see" list. I'm too much of a chicken to see The Orphanage. I had to cover my eyes all through Pan's Labyrinth.

Read any good books lately? I highly recommend this Irish writer I've been reading lately. His name is Ken Bruen. Crude, vulgar, dark, rude, violent, and HILARIOUS! Check him out!

Hey Nicky!

Yay! You blogged again! *does a little dance*. I’ve had a seriously long day at the hospital (I’m in nursing school, and do my clinicals in the long-term care ward at the veteran’s hospital – rewarding, but hard, and sometimes sad), and it really cheered me to come home and listen. You crack me up, man!

So thrilled for you in re: Criminal Minds. Your character was adorable, and I can’t wait to see what happens. Also, as a geeky animation buff, I’m totally looking forward to Supercat. The drawings Ben put up on the site looked great.

Disneyland! Did ya buy Mickey ears? Did ya? Did ya? I want pictures. What did you ride? I love amusement parks and need details.

Thanks for doing this, Nick. It’s really sweet of you to give your fans a call, and I’m sure I speak for all of us when I say we appreciate it.
Lots of Love,
Shannon

PS: You own a German Shepard and a Chihuahua? That’s awesome.

I just wanted to leave a message to tell you that these blogs always make me smile. You just talk about everything that comes to mind and while that can be scary it's always entertaining. I was excited to hear that you'll return to CM. You did a terrific job on that show and it actually airs here in The Netherlands so I'll be able to see it. Which is great. I'm sure you did other great things after Buffy too but they kinda forgot to air that here. Bummer, huh? But you can't have it all in life I guess. :)
Stay well and thank you for these updates. This is a lovely way to make the people that love to see you act feel appreciated. If only Hollywood had more people like you. You're cool, man. Oh and good luck with SuperCat. Hope that airs soon!

Greets,

Hi Nick,

Thanks for the blog updates, it's great to hear your news. Not sure how many chihuahuas you have, I've got two and I howl and sing with them just as you did lol. Mine are called George and Mildred though, like the old BBC sitcom.

I'm a long-time Buffy fan, but being all the way out here in Australia, it's not always possible to attend conventions etc, so your Blogs are really appreciated. I'm so thrilled to find that you've done an episode of Criminal Minds, one of my favourite TV shows.

Big love to you,

Janet.
