Nicholas Brendon and Kelly Donovan are scheduled to appear at Chicago Comic Con — and we’re teaming up with Evil Squirrel Comics (6928 N Glenwood Ave, Chicago) for a karaoke meet and greet!
THE WHEN: Friday, Aug. 12, from 7:30-10:30 p.m.
THE WHAT: Three hours of karaoke, mingling and all-around fun.
THE WHERE: At a venue near the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center. Ticket holders will be informed of the exact location prior to the event.
THE PRICE: $100 per ticket. $150 for a ticket plus an autographed photo. There’s also a $2 processing fee for either ticket level.
THE HOW: Purchase tickets now, and you’ll be put on the guest list. Later, you’ll receive a confirmation email that will include the location. Print out one of these emails and present it at the venue, and you’re in!
Q: How long will tickets to the meet and greet be available?
A: Until they sell out, or until noon (CDT), Aug. 12
Q: What do you get?
A: Karaoke, light appetizers and sodas. There will be a cash bar, for those of age. We’ll also have a photographer in the mix, taking pictures available for purchase later. If you purchase the autograph plus ticket option, we’ll have an autographed photo waiting for you when you check in.
Q: Can you take photos? Videos?
A: Yes! Just don’t be obnoxious about it.
Q: What about autographs?
A: You can buy a ticket + autograph for $150. Nicholas and Kelly will not be signing autographs during the party — it’s a party! So please don’t ask.
Q: What if you buy a ticket but can’t attend?
A: Unfortunately, all sales are final.
